It took me a while before finishing this year blog... I did not wanted to. I had a very deep Vastenavend blues! It was for me an incredible Vastenavend. Ron and I were really touched by all the people we’ve meet again this year, friends we already knew, all the amazing team at the Draak, it is more than staff it is a family, for us now they are friends. We left with a sad feeling because we know that next year we will not be a part of it, but we will be back in 2014 with... our girls!
They will be old enough to discover the unbelievable “Vastenavend”!

We already started to learn them the liedjes! Anne-Sophie stole my trumpet and Leah is shopping for a fur coat! We are looking forward to go back!

We were very lucky with with the weather! It is always magic to see the kids that day...The future generation of Vastenavend lovers! IT is in your genes! And you make it possible by bringing them what ever the temperature is! Rain or shine even snow you go ! Goed gedaan!

Our team is complete for tonight! Kees flew in from Spain! And Ron join in too! It was almost like the arrival of the prince for us ...Because Kees was not with us for 2 years and Bingo! I’m really happy to see you!
